The Multi-purpose Arena next to the OSTRAVAR ARENA was opened in 2007.

The ice rink in the Multi-purpose Arena has dimensions of 58 x 29 m and is mainly used by the schoolchildren, youth and junior teams of HC VÍTKOVICE RIDERA. The main stand has a capacity of 502 seats. The hall is a traditional place for public skating.

It has held a number of events, such as the 2007 European Floorball Tour, Group B of the 2008 Men's World Floorball Championships, and matches of the 2013 Women’s World Floorball Championships. The 2013 International Championships of the Czech Republic in gymnastics and trampoline were held here, as well as the Ostrava Figure Skating Grand Prix and Ostravská laťka indoor high jump championships for several years. Concerts of Tři sestry, No Name, Heritage Singers and John Mayall, ASI Conference, and corporate events of ArcelorMittal Ostrava a.s. and Evraz Vítkovice Steel have also been held here.

The Multi-purpose Arena has been used for training purposes, for instance, during the 2015 World Ice Hockey Championships, the 2017 European Figure Skating Championships, the 2020 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships, the ISU Junior Grand Prix of Figure Skating and the 2007 Gymnastics Grand Prix.
